Love Dogbe
Founder & Creative Director
Amour is French for love, and for Love Dogbe the name could not be more personal. When she founded Amour Couture in 2022, she built the house around a single promise: every piece that leaves her studio should be loved by the person who wears it. That promise shapes everything, from the first conversation about an outfit to the final fitting.
Her journey began close to home, sewing for friends and family. Each finished piece brought new requests, and what started as a talent shared with the people around her grew into a passion she was determined to pursue seriously. To sharpen her craft, Love enrolled at Ho Technical University, where she is studying for a BTech in Fashion Design. Every lesson in pattern making, construction and design finds its way straight back to the studio and into the pieces she creates.
Love is happiest designing men's wear and dresses for life's big occasions: weddings, celebrations and the moments people remember for years. She pairs contemporary silhouettes with Ghanaian colour, print and craft, so that each client feels confident, comfortable and unmistakably themselves.
Looking ahead, Love wants to pass the craft on. She dreams of opening a fashion school, alongside a weekend school for young girls, giving the next generation of Ghanaian designers the start she worked so hard to build for herself.

Crafted in Accra
Every Amour Couture piece is designed and made in Ghana. Our Accra studio brings together contemporary tailoring and local craftsmanship to create clothing with intention, from everyday wear to celebration and ceremony.
Ready to wear
Our collections for women and men, bridal and occasion wear are cut in considered silhouettes made for lasting presence. Each is offered in a range of sizes and can be collected from the studio or delivered across Ghana.

Made to measure is the heart of Amour Couture. Begin with an idea, an occasion or a feeling, and our guided bespoke process brings together design, measurements and personal consultation, so every client feels designed for, not sold to. You can follow your piece from first conversation to final fitting.
Personal service
Fittings, consultations and collections are by appointment, giving the team time to prepare properly for your visit. Every order is wrapped in tissue and arrives with a handwritten note from the studio. We are always happy to talk through an order, a fitting or a piece made around you.
